With DJ gigs across the globe, a weekly worldwide radio show and DJ’s such as David Guetta, Axwell & Tiesto using his productions as their floor destroyers, alongside chart topping productions released with major dance labels around the world, Patrick Hagenaar is only going one way: up!
Back in 1999, Patrick moved to London to start off his DJ career – instantly grabbing both promoters and clubbers‘ attention by rocking the London club scene.
He has held residencies at major clubs in London such as ‘Pacha’ and ‘The Egg’ and picked up several awards along the way: Dutch ‚Upcoming DJ Award‘ (’02), ‚Pioneer Star DJ of the Month‘ (’05) and runner-up at Hed Kandi’s DJ competition (’05).
In 2006, Patrick’s hard work paid off as Ministry of Sound selected him as their Housexy tour resident DJ, taking him to every corner of the globe throughout Europe, Asia, China, Africa and the Americas.
In September 2007, UK Mobile operator O2 approached Patrick to participate in a project that no DJ in the world has ever attempted before. On December 22nd, Patrick was the first DJ to mix a live dj-set on two mobile phones at Ministry of Sound – you can see the results on youtube!
Patrick’s production career kicked off in 2008 with his release ‘What Would We Do’, with Alistair Albrecht, hitting the No1 spot across all major download sites and ‘Criminal’ getting licensed to over 10 countries across the world.
Since then, Patrick has gone onto produce chart topping club hits such as ‘We Feel The Same’, ‘L.O.V.E’, ‘Won’t Let You Down’ and ‘In & Out’ plus remixing major artists such as the US and UK No.1 ‚Ke$ha – We R Who We R‘ for Sony and the Australian No.1 ‚Wynter Gordon – Dirty Talk‘ for Atlantic/Warner.
With new releases and remixes forthcoming on the world’s hottest dance labels and Ministry of Sound taking him on as their International Tour DJ – 2012 is set to propel the flying Dutchman into the major league!
You will not only hear more from her, but also see her, because in 2013, the young Djane from Graz can be seen in the Playboy.
